Springer Nature is hosting a roundtable at the pre-conference workshop for FORCE2018 in Montreal on 10 October, to discuss metrics for open access books. The registration page is here:

We have also invited a Canadian-based publisher and a metrics expert. Agata Morka, Senior Manager for open access books, will be chairing the roundtable discussion, which will look at:
-Why does measurement matter?
-How are OA book authors measuring the impact of their work?
-What are the main challenges in getting access to information on OA book metrics?
-How and why should publishers encourage increased engagement with OA book metrics?
